On February 22, 2022, our son, Nicholas fell 80 feet from a tree while at work. Due to COVID era restrictions, we were prohibited from seeing him until his wife negotiated with the hospital, asking for an exception. On the day we finally received permission, when I stepped into our car and closed the door, I marveled that I felt peace instead of anxiety. Peace that surrounded me and embraced me. Peace independent from my circumstances. I write the following reflections because that same peace is offered to everyone. Join me on this journey, as I share thoughts about connection to the Creator.
