Connecting to the Land

Both Mike and Linda were raised in the country and when they married in 1982, they knew that kind of lifestyle is what they wanted for their children. After a long search, in 1994 God blessed us with the ability to buy our farm. At that time, it had one falling-down shed and bales of composting hay in the field. With three small children, and little equipment, we started creating our farm vision on seventy-five acres in the coastal range of Oregon.

Since then, we have built and cultivated, nurtured and loved the land we are privileged to steward. We have seen God provide in ways we never expected. It is our desire to use what He has given to encourage and bless others.

We grow no-spray blueberries and grass-fed beef.

Our Cattle

Linda’s father, Grant Brown, raised cattle in the Fort Klamath and Bonanza, Oregon areas after returning home from World War II. At ninety years old when no longer able to care for them, he passed his beloved cows on to Linda. They are gentle and friendly crossbred cattle: primarily, red and black Angus

We have been selling grass-fed beef by the whole, half, or quarter for 40 years. These are 19–26-month-old finished cattle, harvested at the farm with no stress methods three times a year: June, November, and December.
